Rebecca Kerr, Missouri Outreach Coordinator

Rebecca Kerr is a sophomore at the University of Missouri majoring in Agricultural Education with minors in Animal Science and Plant Science. Rebecca is active in the Mizzou Collegiate Farm Bureau and serves as the treasurer of Ag Ed Society and Mizzou FFA Alumni. She is also serving as a 2008 Missouri Farm Bureau Ambassador and as the 2007 Livingston County Fair Queen. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys sewing, working outside, and water skiing.

Rebecca grew up on the family farm in Northwest Missouri where they raise corn, soybeans, and a few cattle. She was very active in Livingston County 4-H and the Chillicothe FFA Chapter. In 4-H, Rebecca served as the county president and as a delegate to National 4-H Congress. This past year she was selected as the Sr. Clothes You Make Winner at the Missouri 4-H Fashion Revue. In FFA, Rebecca served as the President of Chillicothe FFA and as Vice President for Area II. She competed at numerous public speaking competitions and received first place in the Missouri Farm Bureau FFA Public Speaking Contest. She was also active in the Chillicothe Band, FBLA, FCA, and National Honor Society. Rebecca is looking forward to serving Missouri as the Outreach Coordinator. Through her agricultural background she hopes to spread the message of farm safety to others across the state.
